My House Fellowship CHURCH

7-20-2018 New Mexico Cross Walk: To God be all glory, this young man with the cross is my nephew, God has delivered him from a very hard life; no he is not out of the woods yet, but thank God he has come a very long way, I ask all who pray lift this young man up before the Lord in your prayers. Preston called me on the 19th asking if I would come up and walk his hood as he called it, I believe he said it is called Sky? At first I turned him down, I had already carried the cross in Albuquerque N.M. another reason it was too short notice. He wanted me to come up on Saturday and Sunday; this was on a Thursday he called, not giving me much time to inform my church members I would be gone on a cross walk. Yet the Spirit of God would not let me rest with the decision I had made, so I called Preston back to informed him I would be coming up Saturday morning to walk with him and come back home that evening, he urged me to come on up that Friday evening and I did. My hearts prayer for Brook was to find him a place to fellowship, a place where he could find a mentor and grow stronger in the Lord, A Bible believing, soul winning, God fearing church which stands for the whole truth of the word of God and not a manmade doctrine. I was there for Brook more than I was for the walk, but like I said, to God be all glory for his blessing on us all who fellowshipped on the streets of Albuquerque N.M. those two days . Many were lead to salvation; many prayed over for various reasons, conformation to our prayer’s were show unto us in both days, one couple could not buy food or pay their bills, yet God blessed them with a sack of food, we found this out after walking a couple of miles, because we ran into them again. Another Divine appointment of God happened while coming up to a bus stop a young lady gets off the bus holding what looked like to me a new Bible; I’m thinking it’s was an opportunity to warn another member of the body of Christ in this nation to repent. My two messages have not changed in this nation that God gave me in 2015, this is what I ask all I met. [I have a message for the saved and unsaved, which are you?] To the saved, repent of their wicked ways in this nation or God will destroy it. [Amo 8:2  And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them anymore. [Just put America where God says Israel.] - [2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.] The other is God’s plan of salvation to the unsaved. Anyway I thought this would be a message to one of the members of the body of Christ; seeing the Bible in her hand. I ask, are you saved or unsaved, I got a message for both, she looks at me and says, unsaved, [but I want to be saved with no hesitation.]  Body of Christ in Albuquerque the streets of your city is ripe for harvest, get out there and pick it. I could go on and on as to the blessings God sent our way those two days, but the greatest of all was on our last day and on our last few blocks of the walk, right before I would be headed home. The miracle ways in which God works, the odds of something just happening like this was in no way by chance. The time we left the apartment, including the people we met and talked to, those we prayed for and the length of each visit all orchestrated by God the Father, Jesus Christ his son and by the leading of the Holy Spirit just to make this meeting happen. God not only answered my prayers, but the prayers of so many others those two days. As we were drawing closer and closer to the end of our walk I had been trying to get it into Brooks heart how God had used him to bring about the whole event, and how much he need to find somewhere in his city to have one on one fellowship with a Bible believing church, one that would help him in his walk with our Lord. God was not only about to answer my prayer but the prayers of three women in his neighborhood who have been praying for years for God to send men to help in their ministry. Cathy a women I would say in her fifties had been waiting at a red light dragging a shopping cart of food set her eyes on us across the highway, the reason I guess her age; she was no spring chicken, yet she was ministering for her Lord in some very tuff neighbor hoods; if Cathy and her two other friends can do it; so can so many of the rest of you. As God would have it, a man on our side of the highway had stopped to hear our messages, as he was leaving the light changed and Cathy came right up to us wanting to know what we were all about. I introduce Preston and myself and expounded on why we were there; Cathy was excited as she began to tell us of their ministry, they too reached out to the homeless, those living on the streets of their city, and whether it was by choice of circumstance they were in the streets living or trying to live, Cathy and her friends did whatever they could for them all. Cathy has been ministering on the streets of their city for four and half years. Her question and prayer to God for some time has been, where are the men of God? She felt that she and her fellow sisters were doing the work that men should be doing and because the men were not, God was calling women out from the body of Christ to be the leaders of such work; a position she did not aspire to have, yet she saw the need and answered the call. [Where are you men of God?] I started to have a Holy Ghost hoedown on the streets of Albuquerque; I look at Preston and Preston looked at me; as this woman spoke of everything he and I had been discussing for the last two days. God had laid on his heart to do the walk, God had laid on his heart to reach out to his fellow man and God had called him to this type of ministry. Brook asked for her phone number and volunteered to help her as much as he could, he also asked her where she attended church, it’s not even a block from his apartment, to God be the glory, why? Preston walks everywhere he goes. Thank you Preston for sharing with me an event that I will take to my grave, the prayers we witnessed being answered, some even on the spot, the lives we touched as well as ours, and most of all being not only my nephew but a friend in Jesus. Just the two of us being on the streets ministering to others in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord is a miracle within its self. God bless Preston Brook Navarrete and God bless Cathy, I pray God send more men into the harvest for you and your fellow sisters. Preston called the next day, not only has he got a new church to attend, but he is taking another potential member and hopefully one more. God bless Cathy and her church as well, I hope your pastor is ready for the coming flow of souls. Pastor Gary
