My House Fellowship CHURCH

Biggest Sin of the Body of Christ

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Sometimes I think how useless it is to preach and teach the word of God in the world in which we live. Nobody cares, nobody will listen; and I am talking about those who confess to be born again; many in the church have the concept, the Bible says it will happen, so why bother?

Yet Paul exhorts Timothy on how to address this issue in the last days; in which I draw my strength: [2Ti 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;]

[That word charge means to demand; Paul demands Timothy, he does not asks Timothy.]

Every minster in the world since, has the same charge or demand as Timothy from Brother Paul: [2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Timothy is charged/demanded to preach the word; not fables, not doctrines of man; but what is written in the word of God.

Much of the body of Christ has no clue as to what the word of God has to tell them; for one thing, they don’t read nor study the Bible themselves and the other, many preachers have stopped reproving, rebuking, and exhorting from the word of God; to those who do attend church.

No we can’t put all the blame on them; because much of the body of Christ does not want to know what God really has to say in his Word. They want to hear feel good messages, sermons that cater to their lusts, prosperity and hyper grace.

Paul could have charged Timothy when that day comes to hunker down in some safe place and get ready for our Lord to come; like many have done in the body of Christ today; if it’s going to happen it’s going to happen; what can I do about it?

But Paul charges Timothy to reprove, rebuke, and exhort, especially when this time comes; why? So that many of the faithful will not get discouraged and fall away with the rest of the lukewarm body of believers.

Just like Timothy preachers are demanded to be instant in reproving, rebuking and exhorting: [Make it happen or done without delay.] In season: [When it is at the right or fashionable time.] Out of season: [When it is not at the right time or fashionable time; we are to do so in the day and age in which we live; (Not to be politically correct; but scripturally strong.)]

He is charging all pastors, preachers, teachers, evangelist, prophets; to preach the word, when it is popular and when it’s not.

Ministers are to reprove: [To scold or correct usually gently or with kindly intent.]

Ministers are to rebuke: [To criticize sharply or an expression of strong disapproval.]

Ministers are to exhort: [Give warnings or advice in an urgent or strong way.]

Why would Paul demand ministers to preach in such a manner? [2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;]

Sound doctrine: They will not accept the true word of God free from error, fallacy, or misapprehension. But after their own lust: [After their strong desire to sin.] They will heap to themselves teachers willing to teach them what they want to hear; not what they need to hear.

Much is taking place in the body of Christ: [2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. [They will turn away from hearing the truth of God’s word, only being taught and accepting fables, story’s that are not true scripturally, but teach a moral lesson that they will accept as Biblical truth.]

Yet we Pastors, preachers, teachers are to: [2Ti 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.] Preachers are to watch out for these things, they are to endure rejection from those who call themselves children of God; who do not want the truth of God’s word.]

They are to evangelize: [One who tries convince Christians to live a righteous life and sinners to be saved.]

They are to make full proof of their ministry, preach and teach the truth of the word of God to the very end, don’t back down or give up no matter if they want to hear or not.]

Why? To keep some of them from hearing these words on the day of judgment: [Luk 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Luk 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.  Luk 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.]

Why will they hear him say, ‘depart from me ye workers of iniquity?’ Because they want to live in the pleasure of sin, they want to be workers of iniquity and still go to heaven, all the time thinking their religious works will gain them access and grace allows them to live in sin.

Sadly many Christ believing Christians do not understand there is a vast difference in falling into a sinful act many times in our Christian walk with Christ throughout our lifetime; than to openly embrace and practice a sinful lifestyle with no intention of ever repenting of it.

A worker of iniquity is someone who does not make an effort to control this sinful body and sinful ways; but instead embrace sin under the guise of hyper grace: (That is, we can live any sinful way we want to, because of grace and still go to heaven.)

It’s a false grace that gives them what they think is a license to live a sinful lifestyle; who Jesus calls: (A Worker of Iniquity.) Don’t be among those who will hear these words on their judgment day: (Depart from me, ye that work iniquity.)

I post these things not to shame anyone, I post these things not in a holier than thou attitude, I post these things not to condemn anyone, I post these things because, as a preacher of the gospel, I am charged to do so and I especially don’t want to see one brother or sister in Christ Jesus not make it to that new heaven and that new earth; that is so quickly coming.)

To those of you who have been taught or led to believe that it can’t happen to a born again child of God. I leave you with these words that will judge you in the last days: [1Ti 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1Ti 4:2  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 1Ti 4:3  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.]

Also in: [Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Mat 24:10  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Mat 24:11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Mat 24:12  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Mat 24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.]

Find you a King James Bible, read it, study it and cherish it, the day will come when it shall be banned around the world; and yes even in America; except the body of Christ repent and turn back to the truth of God’s word in reverence and true Godly fear and start working to change this nation back to God: [2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.]
